COUNSELLING SERVICES FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE

 Merete has seen both my children for counselling and has really helped them both with dealing with their emotions, confidence and general well being. My 10 year old struggles with anxiety and new people and experiences but Merete made him feel comfortable and under no pressure. She also helped him when he was given an ASD diagnosis. My 5 year old loved her time with Merete especially the arts and crafts aspect. Merete definitely catered to each of their individual interests and strengths etc so they both had a unique experience beneficial to them. They enjoyed their sessions everytime and always looked forward to going. We as a family highly recommend her and will definitely continue to see her as and when the children need. We are greatful for all the help and guidance she has given our children.
 

It only took a few counselling sessions with Merete before the adults in class started to notice a difference in the young person's behaviour. Calmer and increasingly able to explain what was troubling them during the course of the day, were positive outcomes in a surprisingly short period of time.
